While we face up to the challenge of living abroad, we often long for the comfort of a caring environment. We miss the love of our near and dear, their care and protection; we also miss those cultural elements which have shaped our lives and values.

SANSKRITI is an acknowledgement of the growing presence of the Indian  community in Cyprus and a response to its needs. As a non-profit social organization, we hope to help our members with a more comfortable existence on this island. At a cultural level, SANSRITI will try to bring entertainment from the sub-continent for all of you and generate revenue for its social activities in the process. In addition, talent within the community in Cyprus will be encouraged. The organization will serve as a platform to any cultural idea which can help us identify ourselves better.

On the social front the SANSKRITI organizers would like to, on a non-profit basis, respond to the various needs of our large community e.g. primary health care for the needy, information / counseling services for the large working and student community in Cyprus. The work will be run under the banner of the organization by volunteers in the interest of the members. We hope that SANSRITI will serve as a platform for the Indian community’s needs.

Our mission is to engender partnership and understanding between the Indian and Cypriot communities and to promote cultural relationships through various events and activities. We strive to nurture social and cultural bonds between peoples and communities. To reach these aims we organize cultural, entertainment, sporting and other events at various times during the year.
